Hector's World
In October 2007, the Minister of Education wrote to ECE services to tell them about the launch of the Hector’s World Safety Button™ and a Hector’s World™ poster in English and Te Reo Māori. Hector’s World™ is an animated website for young children that promotes messages of safe and responsible use of the internet through resources like lesson plans, cut-out hats, and downloadable storybooks.
The Hector’s World Safety Button™ is a resource for young children to use when on the internet. It can be downloaded from the Hector’s World™ website.
