Roskill South Kindergarten
Roskill South Kindergarten serves a multicultural and multilingual community in Mt Roskill, Auckland, by offering sessional early childhood education to two groups of local young children.
Innovation
Integrating a wide array of information communication technology in innovative ways into everyday practice; thereby giving children additional tools and approaches for learning and teaching. Enhanced use of ICT in assessment documentation created new ways to communicate children’s enthusiastic and thoughtful learning with multi-lingual families.

- What IT/ICT practices can be successfully integrated into everyday learning and teaching practice?
- What effect does this integration have on:
- What additional ICT practices can be successfully integrated into everyday learning and teaching practice? Does the enhanced use of ICT in assessment increase the involvement of families in children’s learning, and in the kindergarten’s curriculum? How does enhanced use of ICT in assessment assist the teachers to reflect and discuss work with the children, suggest future steps and document connections?
